Texas Gov. Greg Abbott declares Kamala Harris and Tim Walz the “most radical and dangerous administration in modern history”

If American voters elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as the new president and vice president, the nation will fall, according to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

In a statement he posted to X, Abbott called Kamala and Walz “the most radical and dangerous administration in modern history,” assuming they end up occupying the White House come January 2025.

“A Harris-Walz ticket would be the most radical and dangerous administration in modern history,” were Abbott’s exact words.

“Tim Walz will be a rubberstamp for Kamala Harris’ deadly open border policies, refusing to admit there is a border crisis, opposing border wall funding, and supporting sanctuary cities.”

While governor of Minnesota, Walz imposed policies that “endangered the lives of those he was elected to protect,” Abbott’s statement continues – “and we can only expect more of the same as Vice President.”

“Like Harris, Walz endorsed defunding the police, and under his watch, vehicle theft, aggravated assault, and even murder rates have gone up in Minnesota.”

Nation divided over who’s best for the White House in 2025

For a full three days at the start of the George Floyd-triggered Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots that swept the Twin Cities in the summer of 2020, Walz refused to call in the National Guard, which Abbott finds upsetting.

“Walz is also a climate radical who wants to destroy American energy independence and completely eliminate fossil fuels, killing hundreds of thousands of good-paying oil and gas jobs in Texas and across the country.”

Together with Kamala, Walz will keep the borders open, end American energy independence, and impose a “soft-on-crime agenda,” according to Abbott, who says a Kamala-Walz regime “will hurt Americans and the future of the country.”

Reactions to Abbott’s statement on X were mixed. One person noted that the political elite in Bible times accused Jesus of being a “radical” for feeding the poor and healing the sick. Others expressed worry that the type of radicalism a Kamala-Walz regime would impose is much different than anything Jesus did.

“Kamala and her child mutilating vp pick will send this country into an even woker spiral of no return,” one said in support of Abbott’s statement. What we see in Britain and France with the migrants is what they want to do here.”

The Health Ranger expressed support for Abbott’s statement, writing that a Harris-Walz ticket “is a ticket straight to Hell.”

Someone else wrote that the current policies of Abbott and other Republican leaders in Texas who “throw people in jail for growing a plant,” referring to cannabis, “is radical and dangerous to me, and is not the Texas I moved to in 1990.”

“Texas should have been FIRST to act to free the plant,” this person added.

“The way the entire nation has handled the border is lazy,” wrote another X user blasting both the left and the right for failing to secure the border.

“With the amount of technology and genius-minded individuals we have in this nation, it should be easy to make illegal immigration a non-issue,” this person added.

Numerous others used the hashtag #Texit to express support for Texas seceding from the union of states in protest of the current political situation.
