In 2019, political insider Terry McAteer, writing for The Union, blew the lid on the real Kamala Harris, whom it sounds like abused her staffers while exemplifying a Napoleon complex.
McAteer’s father served as San Francisco supervisor and state senator back in the day, and McAteer himself was elected Superintendent of Schools for Nevada County, Calif. His son Gregory took a summer internship under then-Attorney General Kamala Harris.
According to McAteer, “there is another side of Kamala Harris which the general public does not know.”
McAteer’s son Gregory spent just one month under Kamala and could not wait to leave. Gregory recalled Kamala constantly yelling “f-bombs” and other profanities around the office while berating her staffers. People were afraid of Kamala because of how belligerent and out-of-control she was.
Perhaps even more disturbing is how Kamala told her staffers to address her each day. According to Gregory’s account, Kamala would have everyone enter her office first thing each day and say “good morning, general.”
“Never once during the month-long internship did Harris introduce herself to our son (as he was only in an office with 20 paid employees) and staff was too intimidated by her to introduce him,” McAteer writes.
“The only acknowledgment was a form letter of ‘thanks’ signed by Harris given to him on his last day of service … Gregory was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.”
(Related: No matter how they try to spin it, Kamala Harris acted as open borders czar under Joe Biden.)
In public, Kamala is known for loud and repetitive cackling, fake smiles and canned speeches. Behind closed doors, Kamala sounds like a raging lunatic who believes herself to be much more important than she actually is.
“For a woman of color to have employees stand when she enters the room smacks of a bygone era that we, as Americans, deplore and find demeaning,” McAteer says.
“Furthermore, that she didn’t show the quality of leadership skills or even being a decent boss – much less the ‘class’ to approach Gregory at least once during the month to say ‘Hi, I’m Kamala Harris and I want to thank you for volunteering in my office’ – is really troubling. Finally, what is up with the ‘don’t look her in the eye’ instruction? I know I wouldn’t want to work in that hostile environment!”
McAteer says he had his son Gregory read over the article claiming all this before it was published. Gregory gave it his stamp of approval, so take of it what you will.
“Stop electing lawyers,” one commenter wrote about Kamala and others like her. “They lie to us.”
“Kamala’s father was a radical Marxist professor at Stanford,” wrote another.
“Kamala never even says anything of consequence, but she says it with a smile and that is good enough for her supporters,” said someone else.
Another, joking at chatter of the DNC having to put a muzzle on Kamala during the debates so she does not cackle, wrote that they must have “trained her with a shock collar” in order to pull off such a feat.
“They will stop at nothing to cheat Kamala into the White House,” said another.
Others noted that every time Kamala speaks, she sounds like a kindergartner “reciting a memorized line in the school play.”
“Their best strategy is to keep her out of the public eye,” one added. “The more people see and hear from her, the less they like her. It’s why she had to drop out ahead of Iowa with 1% polling.”
